“I am that person who is always planning something — whether it’s dinner, sports, cinema or drinks,” said Doherty, the company’s 31-year-old chief executive, pictured centre. The frustration of having to use so many different methods to contact friends had become too much. “I am a big triathlete — and organising swimming, running and cycling with three different groups of friends just tipped me over the edge,” she said.
